Milda Dubininkienė
Child and Adolescent Doctor-Psychiatrist/Assistant
In school, I developed an interest in psychiatry. I have been interested in new advancements in psychiatric science since my first year of medical school. I have also taken part in numerous trainings, conducted scientific research, and have always strived to become a better person. I completed my internships while I was a student at the Vilnius City Mental Health Center’s Acute Psychosis Unit, the Psychosomatic Department of the LSMUL Kaunas Hospital, and the Jonava Psychiatric Day Hospital.
My decision to specialize in child psychiatry gave my life purpose, and I continue to be a lifelong learner. The patients themselves, in my opinion, make the best teachers. While I prefer non-medicated treatment when I deal with patients, I do give medication when needed. Throughout the treatment process, I confer with the child’s parents or guardians in addition to them. I strive to approach each patient’s heart uniquely since I think that every patient is unique. Sincere concern and interest in the patient are, in my opinion, the most crucial factors in the healing process.
